Over the years, Bridgepointe has fostered direct “school-to-school” relationships between elementary, middle and high schools in Southwest Detroit and surrounding suburbs. We have found that by pairing urban and rural schools directly in an ongoing one-on-one relationship setting, the creativity and resourcefulness of our teachers and administrators emerges to advance urban-suburban collaboration one classroom at a time. We help to create customized programs that benefit students through partnership and awareness.

Bridgepointe helps to facilitate collaboration between the Detroit schools with different organizations, small groups, faith based groups and businesses. Our goal is to foster a commitment in all young people that will promote friendships, strong interpersonal skills, inspire dignity and hope in our future.
Holiday Celebrations bring the children of Detroit and its surrounding suburbs together for a day of fun, friendship and kindness. As a volunteer you can participate in the celebrations, you can donate to a family or you can collect gift items to donate. We welcome any business, organization or individual to partner with a Detroit school for a holiday party.
- Suggested ideas in being a community partner: collecting items such as school supplies, books, winter jackets, toys for the holidays etc. `There are opportunities to tutor or mentor Detroit students, make a donation, donate food baskets.
- Holiday Celebrations bring the children of Detroit and its surrounding suburbs together for a day of fun, friendship and kindness. As a volunteer you can participate in the celebrations, you can donate to a family or child or you can encourage your school to partner with a Detroit school to celebrate the holiday and/or you can collect gift items to donate to the children.
